General Impression
Overall Rating:
/ 10I had a really great time in Costa Rica. The people there are used to volunteer workers and really try to include you as best as possible.Country
Costa Rica is a beautiful country. Because of its small size, you can get to see so many things outside of Jaco and the people there are also really helpful. I don´t speak Spanish but I still got through really good, but it is very useful if you do of course. I met a lot of new people, especially young people like me and made a lot of new friends, There are a lot of different animals you can see and the beaches are awesome too.
Project & Staff
The project was very good, even though we had some unforeseable issues at the start. The kids I worked with were really nice and I had a lot of fun with them. Also, I felt like I could really help them with some tasks, eventhough I couldn´t really teach them some new things, but I am no real teacher so it was totally fine.
The staff at Love Volunteer and also at in Costa Rica were really nice and helped me pretty well if I had any issues or questions. Also, the staff at the hotel is really nice and I made to new friends there.

Tips
Don´t have too many expectations when you go there. Sometimes, you also need to improvise a bit because it is not like in Europe or the US. It is also really helpful to go out on the weekends to find some new people and make new friends, or else it will get a bit lonely.
