My 2 week volunteering trip to Ecuador was a great experience! It was really cool to experience a new country and feel safe while doing it. I learned a lot while in Ecuador and so many things that I learned you could not learn unless going to the country itself. While in Ecuador I learned about the people, the culture and I improved so much on my spanish. My sister and I volunteered at a children's hospital while in Ecuador. It was very rewarding to help out at a place that needs any help they can get. My spanish improved the most from being in the hospital and conversing with nurses, patients, and parents. The money and time I spent in Ecuador was well worth it!
