Both Jordan and I had the greatest experience on the Working with Children Program in Uganda, and already wish we could go back!From the very beginning of trying to organize our trip to Uganda, Love Volunteers was so helpful through everything. They answered any questions we had, and made sure we were well prepared.
Being able to meet Basil once we landed in Uganda was amazing. He was the sweetest and friendliest guy we have ever met. He showed us around and helped prepare us for everything we were going to experience. We were placed at Kidron Valley Ministries in Jinja, and stayed there for three weeks. We were able to stay with the director and founder of the organization, John, and we loved it. Him and his wife were so welcoming and made sure to really teach us their culture. We were able to work with school kids, and orphans.
It was easily the greatest experience of our lives. We were sad to see our time there end, but cannot wait to go back. It was amazing to be able to go see another country's culture. Everyone was so friendly and happy to see us. The children were more loving than we have ever seen in anyone. We absolutely fell in love with Uganda, and couldn't thank Love Volunteers enough for helping us through it all. We highly recommend anyone who can, to experience this. It has changed our lives completely.
