My experience in Victoria Falls with Love Volunteers was amazing. I workedwith children with learning difficulties and with youth (HIV prevention).
The NGO is flexible and they supported me not only during work time but during my free time too.
The program is great, but people working there really make the difference. They love what they do and it's impossible not to do the same!
I am grateful because during the time I spent there I learnt a lot and all my questions always found an answer.
My host family was lovely, I could not expect more: I felt at home from the
very beginning I arrived there and I really recommend this sort of
accommodation for a full immersion in the wonderful Zimbabwean culture.
I always felt safe and integrated in the community: People are friendly and
helpful.
There is plenty of time after work and during the weekends to explore the
region and its wildlife and do activities at the amazing Victoria Falls,
Unesco Heritage.
I highly recommend volunteering in Victoria Falls. My memories from Zimbabwe
will always be close to my heart. Living and working there is an experience
I will never forget.
