General Impression
Overall Rating:
/ 10At first i was really nervous about traveling alone to a different country. But Once i got there luckily another volunteer was on the same plane as me so i met someone immediately who became my roommate while i was there! The people in Ecuador were really nice and i really liked taking the Spanish classes at Simon bolivar school. Volunteering at the daycare was amazing. The kids were so sweet and loving and a pleasure to be with.Country
Quito is so much bigger than i thought it was going to be. There is so much to do there as far as sight seeing and so much culture. I learned a lot about the country while i was there, it was great!
Project & Staff
The staff and teachers at the Spanish school were amazing! Everyone was so helpful and accommodating.
Tips
Make sure you check the weather there and understand what season you are in. Also i would recommend staying for at least 2 weeks to a month if you want to get the full experience of Ecuador because there are so many sights to see there! If you want to learn Spanish, this is a great place to go.
