All I can say is that the Nepalese hospitality and warmth is deeply felt by me even during wintertime now. And you, of course too, for arranging everything and ensuring my trip is going well as it can be now!Country
Things have been great. I'm absolutely thankful for the coordinators; Manoj and Keshab really ensured I was taken care of. In Kathmandu, they advised me to leave for Pokhara on Monday as I arrived late on Friday night. They brought me to their school on Saturday and I enjoyed that unexpected visit! As a teacher, it's always an eye-opening experience to check out local schools overseas.
Project & Staff
I reached the monastery on Monday night and have been spending time with the monks, conversing with them, playing with them and teaching them. I also got to sit with them in Tibetan classes where they learn to read and write their Buddhist chants. It was a refreshing opportunity!
