I spent 9 weeks in total in Ecuador, 2 weeks in Quito for Spanish lessons and the 7 weeks teaching English on Isabela Island in the Galapagos and it was an absolutely amazing program!! The support from Love and their in-country coordinators was perfect. I felt safe and appreciated in both Quito and the Galapagos and would recommend the country, organization and program to anyone. The children were so happy to practice their English and the daily hugs made school a delight to go to everyday!! I spent Monday - Friday, 7am-1pm at school helping my host teacher and the rest of my time exploring the Island. There was a beautiful beach 5 minutes from my homestay and national parks within 15 - 45 minute walks. (I took over 2,000 pictures!!). My homestay family was very nice and made me feel welcome in their home! The food was basic but ample and well prepared. I had A/C, WIFI and a private bathroom with hot water it was more than expected!! Thank you LV!
