Yes it's a third world country and you have to be open to experiencing all that goes with that but the Ugandan people are beautiful, caring people who welcomed us with open arms.
Project & Staff
We volunteered in local orphanages and schools and also in our local village where we lived with a beautiful family. We were there for 6 weeks and did so many things - every day was different. The staff at Love Volunteers were reassuring, professional and helpful from our first contact until our very last.
Tips
Put yourself out of your comfort zone and experience something different. You will change lives and in the process, your life will be changed. You will meet amazing people, do incredible things and make so many memories. Just do it - you will not regret it.
