Volunteers on our Community Development program need nothing more than a willingness to help and every skill will be put to use and enhanced by this rewarding experience. Initiative, motivation, an open mind and a smile are the most important attributes a volunteer can bring to these crucial programs.
Community Development projects are as varied as the locations in which they take place. Volunteers may be involved in planting sustainable gardens, painting or repairing school buildings, planning and running educational programs, assisting with human rights initiatives, running community outreaches and so much more. Each volunteer contributes to a continuum of assistance which lifts the standard of living for impoverished local communities.
