I had a great time working with children at an orphanage in Arusha. The kids are so sweet and friendly.I could choose what I would like to work with, so I did some cooking, cleaning, gardening, etc. It was interesting to try different things.
However, my favorite part of the volunteering was spending time with the kids. I helped out in the class for the youngest children, as the orphanage is also a school.
One of the highlights was seeing the kids happy faces after printing some photos I took of them. Especially the young boy in the photo wearing my sunglasses, he really liked his photo.
