General Impression
Overall Rating:
/ 10The journalism internship was an engaging, hands-on experience! The staff was super welcoming and provided me with many projects and tasks to complete during by time. I never felt out of place or bored, and time fly by as there was always something to do!Country
Morocco is a stunning country with a ton of cities and towns that are perfect to visit during the weekend. Although a fairly progressive country, most Westerners will experience more attention than they do in their home country. After a couple days of adjustment, however, you get used to the new attention. The mix of arab, north african, and european culture gives Morocco a distinct identity and fascinating culture!
Project & Staff
The project was very well organized and the staff was always on hand to assist us if we had any trouble purchasing particular products, needed travel tips, etc. There was a large degree of freedom, however, which was very lovely, as it allowed the interns to take advantage of their freedom during the evenings/nights and weekends!
Tips
If you enter with an open mind and willingness to learn, explore, meet new people, and try different experiences, this will be a wonderful opportunity!
