Boga, Albania is an absolutely beautiful area! Wonderful, warm people, too! It is remote, but you get a chance to see people living a totally sustainable lifestyle, with a true connection to the earth and their land. Volunteering there was challenging, but extremely enriching! As a volunteer you get to see a window into a culture and learn to adapt to the daily rhythm while adding a bit of yourself to that fabric, helping, and hopefully, giving the people a window into your life; a true exchange! I will be forever changed and enlightened by the experience!
