It was a very fulfilling experience. Keshab is a great person and is doing lots of good things for his school. It was a pleasure volunteering for him. He is very kind and very flexible. The accommodation was comfortable and located in a great area of Kathmandu. The only improvement I would suggest is the transportation from the guest house to the school. We used Pathao which is a great app but I would have expected transportation to be arranged for us.Country
Nepal is very nice place. The culture is interesting and Nepalese people are extremely kind. Everyone speaks English and they are keen to help out. It is also very safe. We did not feel unsafe or nervous at any point during our trip.
Project & Staff
The school and the students were both very nice. The teachers and staff at the school were very kind to us throughout our stay.
Tips
Do not rely on credit cards as most transactions are done by cash. Do most of your souvenir shopping in Bhaktapur as it is much cheaper than Kathmandu.
